Core Beliefs

We believe in the creator God of the Bible who made the heavens and the earth.

We believe that the Bible is a collection of historically accurate documents.

We believe that God is perfect and the source of goodness.

When we do things that damage ourselves and others it is called sin and separates us from this God.

This separation was mended in the Bible by giving an offering as a payment.

We believe Jesus came as God in the flesh to take away that separation by being perfect in our place.

In this way, he became a replacement for all other offerings.

He showed his authority over death by willingly giving his life and taking it back

In order to restore our relationship with God, Jesus asks us to give ourselves back to him.

As children of God and followers of Jesus we are free of the guilt and shame of our mistakes.

We gather each week to remember and celebrate in song the restored relationship we have with God.

We study the words and teachings of Jesus and his hand-picked followers to know how to live for God.

In honor of Jesus we take juice and bread similar to the meal he had before he offered himself up.

We encourage and care for each other because of the example that we have in Him.

Because Jesus showed power over death, we have confidence to also have life after death with him.
